A message from Flintshire C.C. regarding admissions
Further to customer feedback when applying for school places, we have released a bit more information about the new ‘My Account’, as there has been some confusion as to what the ‘My Account’ is.
Parents cannot create a new application for a school place, without creating a ‘My Account’. If the below information could be circulated to all parents (not just the ones applying for September 2020) either in the newsletter or by email that would be great.
To also take the pressure off schools could you please encourage parents to go along to the Connects Offices should they need help with the online admissions process.
Have you signed up for My Account yet?
Flintshire County Council now has an account for residents and customers to enable them to access a number of services online.
If you would like to register your child for a school place, check when your bin will be collected or get the contact details for your local councillor on-line, the Council’s new My Account is just what you need and you can do it all at a time and place that suits you best.
It’s quick and easy to sign up. Go to flintshire.gov.uk/My-Account and register for My Account now!
Over the coming months, the Council will be extending the services available to Flintshire residents through My Account and it will keep you posted as new things come online.
By creating an online account, the information you provide will feed into a centralised system allowing us to process your request much quicker.
If you would like some help getting started, you can go along to one of the Council’s Connect Centres and they will be able to help set you up.
