Our topic in Reception is ‘The Deep Dark Wood’. In reception this term we are taking a walk through the Deep Dark wood. We are focusing on the Gruffalo and the characters in the book. We will measure the characters using non-standard measures, look at ordinal numbers and count lots of different natural materials.

We will learn our letter sounds and what they look like and learn to put them together to make words. 

We have fun learning together indoors and outdoors and create and experiment using lots of different resources.
